"account": "Jacob Tierney, known as the creator of the hit gay hockey romance series \"Heated Rivalry,\" also boasts an extensive acting background dating back to the late 1980s. One of his lesser-known roles was in the long-forgotten vampire series \"Dracula: The Series.\"\n\nThe family-friendly show, which aired from 1990 to 1991, starred Tierney as Max Townsend, one of the nephews assisting a vampire hunter named Gustav Helsing. The series faced an interesting twist when Dracula was reimagined as a businessman named Alexander Lucard.\n\nTierney's co-stars in \"Dracula: The Series\" included Mia Kirshner, Bernard Behrens, Geordie Johnson, Joe Roncetti, and Geraint Wyn Davies. During his time on the show, Tierney appeared alongside a talented ensemble cast that included actors from another beloved horror/supernatural program from the same era, \"Are You Afraid of the Dark.\"\n\nAlthough Tierney's career has been consistent since his debut, \"Heated Rivalry\" continues to be his most successful project to date. The show's massive ratings and social media buzz have led to the confirmation of Season 2, which is set to premiere in late spring 2027. Fans can look forward to the continuation of the romantic storyline between Shane and Ilya, along with new couples and characters adding depth to an expanded universe.",
