"account": "Pune: A significant rise in feed costs is forcing poultry farmers to face a 15% loss, while dairy producers in drought-prone areas are grappling with limited fodder supplies. Key ingredients for livestock feed have seen prices soar by up to 75%, leading to industry-wide concerns. Mustard meal prices have increased by 75%, deoiled rice bran meal by 68%, corn DDGS by 66%, groundnut meal by 43%, and maize by 8%.\n\nFeed manufacturers are also experiencing margin pressure as the higher prices decrease demand. Industry groups have called on the government to facilitate maize imports and release foodgrain stocks that are not suitable for human consumption for use as livestock feed. Additionally, the competition between the poultry industry and ethanol producers over maize is intensifying, as production has declined due to an inadequate monsoon.",
