"account": "Los Angeles Rams cornerback Trent McDuffie will not suit up for their upcoming divisional matchup against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday, following an injury sustained during practice. McDuffie suffered a groin strain that led to his absence from the Rams' initial roster for Sunday's game. The team cited McDuffie's injury during a Thursday practice session, as he missed Friday's workout as well. This marks the first time since acquiring McDuffie in a trade for four draft picks last spring that the Rams have chosen to sit their top defensive back for a game. Throughout the season, McDuffie has been instrumental in the Rams' underwhelming start, tallying 16 tackles and snagging one interception while effectively neutralizing every receiver he faced. Josh Wallace is anticipated to see a significant amount of playing time in McDuffie's absence. Despite a precautionary ankle injury sustained during practice, safety Kam Curl is set to take the field against the Cardinals. Furthermore, the team activated rookie offensive lineman Keagen Trost from injured reserve to prepare for his NFL debut. In addition to McDuffie's absence, the Rams will also be without starting left tackle Alaric Jackson, who is suspended for a hit on Bills linebacker Bradley Chubb during the Rams' loss to Buffalo last Monday night. Conversely, the Cardinals are without rookie running back Jeremiyah Love, the team's third overall draft pick, due to an ankle injury.",
