The tender process for the project, which includes residential space for artists from across Maharashtra, has been initiated by the Gardens Department. The amenities will provide affordable accommodation to artists who participate in cultural programmes and events at the venue, as many struggle to afford expensive hotels in Mumbai. The planned infrastructure will consist of residential areas, a kitchen, dining hall, and toilet facilities, catering to the needs of artists during events and staff requirements. Artists will pay fees based on their stay duration. The Shilpgram garden, spanning 55,000 square meters, showcases Maharashtra and India's cultural heritage through sculptures, traditional games, dance forms, and other practices.",
