"summary": "President Bola Tinubu has appointed Nyesom Wike, Ademola Adeleke, and Chukwuma Soludo to his 2027 re-election campaign council, a move that has unsettled opposition figures and raised concerns among APC stakeholders. Meanwhile, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has promised to investigate a suspected internet fraud syndicate in Abuja accused of impersonating popular content creators to defraud victims. In sports, Nigeria's Golden Eaglets have been eliminated from the 2026 WAFU-B U-17 Championship, ruling them out of the 2027 U-17 Africa Cup of Nations and World Cup. Finally, Nollywood mourned actress Tenia Abraham, who died at the age of 32, while her faith-based film Agbara Nla: The Return crossed the N307m mark at the box office.",
