"summary": "Jaime Pressly has defended her former co-stars on the CBS sitcom \"Mom\" following criticisms made by show co-creator Chuck Lorre. In his memoir \"Sitcom,\" Lorre wrote that he was hesitant to cast Anna Faris as the lead character, Christy Plunkett, and stated he felt his reservations were justified when Faris left the series in 2020.\n\nAccording to TheWrap, Pressly described the cast as an \"incredible cast of women\" who were \"all of us, just as beautifully flawed as our characters on the show were.\" Pressly, who played Jill Kendall, joined the production in its second season and worked on the series for seven years. She noted that she enjoyed going to work with \"girlfriends every day.\"",
