"account": "The Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, praised the leadership of former Ondo State Governor, Dr Olusegun Mimiko, emphasizing that his greatest legacy is the people he mentored and prepared for leadership. At the \"Birthday and Conversation with Dr Olusegun Mimiko\" event in Abuja, Tunji-Ojo described Mimiko as the architect of modern Ondo State and the best governor the region had ever had. He highlighted the former governor's achievements in various sectors, including healthcare, education, youth empowerment, and infrastructure, despite challenging circumstances. The minister noted that Mimiko demonstrated through his eight-year tenure that government could work for the people, and his legacies still exist today, such as the mother and child hospital and medical university. Mimiko's impact on the state is evident in the young people he mentored, who celebrated him on his birthday rather than asking for it. Tunji-Ojo urged other public servants to follow Mimiko's example and mentor younger individuals. He also encouraged embracing technology, warning that leaders who fail to do so will be replaced. Mimiko's influence extended to Aiyedatiwa's decision to rename the Ondo State International Centre for Culture and Events, known as the Dome, in his honor.",
