"summary": "US President Donald Trump issued a \"complete and total endorsement\" of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Sunday via Truth Social ahead of the October 27 elections. Trump praised Netanyahu as a \"Great Warrior Prime Minister\" and a \"Partner for Peace\" in combatting Iran, describing him as \"strong, brave, and brilliant\" in the face of opposition. Netanyahu responded on X by thanking Trump for his support and stating they would work together to \"complete the mission.\"\n\nThe endorsement comes as Netanyahu's government, described by CBS News as the most nationalist and far-right in Israel's history, faces domestic criticism regarding security failures and international criticism regarding the treatment of Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank. While CBS News noted the endorsement is a coveted boost due to Trump's popularity in Israel, Middle East Eye reported that polls suggest a stalemate between rival political blocs. France 24 noted it is unclear what impact the endorsement will have, as many Israelis have expressed disappointment with Trump over the US president's ceasefire proposal and the outcome of the Iran war.",
