"account": "US President Donald Trump has endorsed Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for re-election, stating his \"complete and total endorsement\" ahead of Israeli elections set to take place in less than ten days. In a post on his Truth Social platform addressing the Israeli people, Trump praised Netanyahu as \"strong, brave, and brilliant.\" He noted that Netanyahu remained strong under pressure, unlike normal individuals who might have crumbled. Trump emphasized that Netanyahu would never let down the people of Israel, writing \"Bibi Netanyahu will never let you down!\" He further stated that any alternative to Netanyahu would be the wrong choice for Israel. Trump also vowed that the US would \"finish the job soon\" with Iran unless Tehran changed course, suggesting that without Netanyahu in office, America would have to handle this task themselves. Netanyahu responded to Trump's endorsement on X, expressing gratitude for the president's \"tremendous support and partnership.\" The endorsement comes as polls indicate a potential stalemate between Netanyahu's coalition and an opposition bloc led by former army chief Gadi Eisenkot. According to a Maariv poll, both blocs are at 51 seats, falling short of the 61 seats needed for a parliamentary majority. Although Eisenkot led Netanyahu by 48 percent to 41 percent in respondents' opinion on who would make a better prime minister, a deadlock has been persisting in polls ahead of the election, scheduled for October 27.",
