"account": "Two taxi owners were shot dead in Epping on Friday, October 16, after gunmen stopped and attacked their vehicle. Police have arrested two suspects, aged 27 and 31, who are linked to the taxi industry. The victims, aged 45 and 46, were traveling along Fisher Avenue when a Toyota Quantum allegedly blocked their sedan. Seven men then opened fire, killing the taxi owners. The Provincial Taxi Violence Unit is leading the investigation and expects further arrests. The Cape Organisation for the Democratic Taxi Association (Codeta) confirmed that the victims were its members and expressed fears of further violence between taxi associations. A dispute over a fine for loading passengers incorrectly was reportedly the trigger for the shooting.",
"summary": "Two suspects are expected in court after two men were shot dead in Epping. Codeta has warned that the incident could escalate tensions with rival association Cata, although police have not confirmed the motive.",
