"summary": "The Egyptian presidency announced on Sunday that the country is ready to provide Saudi Arabia with the support necessary to defend its security and stability as Iran-aligned Houthi attacks intensify. President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi requested an urgent parliamentary session to authorize military assistance, though Business Recorder and Middle East Eye report that parliament has postponed the vote until Monday to allow for further deliberations.\n\nIn Riyadh, the Kingdom Centre skyscraper has ordered office tenants to work remotely until further notice following a security alert and two drone interceptions near the capital. Business Recorder reports that schools in the capital and surrounding areas have extended online learning into a second week, and King Khalid International Airport remains closed after a major attack last week killed 13 people. The Saudi-led coalition has also announced its first military deaths since the war with the Houthis reignited.\n\nSaudi Central Bank Governor Ayman Al-Sayari stated at the 2026 IMF and World Bank Annual Meetings that the Saudi economy remains resilient due to strong financial buffers and prudent policies. However, he warned that the Middle East conflict is increasingly impacting the global economic outlook by affecting international trade, transportation, and inflation.",
