"account": "The Dasara Pet Show, held at J.K. Grounds in Mysuru on Sunday, attracted a large crowd, particularly youth and women, with hundreds of dogs and cats of various breeds drawing visitors' attention. Organized by the Department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Services, the event showcased around 702 dogs and 52 cats owned by pet enthusiasts from Mysuru and neighboring districts such as Mandya, Chamarajanagar, Kodagu, and Hassan. A total of 55 dog breeds were listed, and five canines were selected for the Best in Show championship. Breeds displayed included German Shepherds, Lhasa Apsos, Beagles, Shih Tzus, Dobermans, Poodles, Great Danes, Rajapalayams, and Pugs. Non-recognized breeds were also allowed to participate. The show saw a 20% increase in participation compared to the previous year. Pet lovers, especially young individuals, were seen handling multiple dogs simultaneously, while numerous visitors captured photographs at the event's photo booth. Sushmitha, a Mysuru resident with seven dogs, expressed her enjoyment of spending time with dogs, known for their loyalty. Chethan, a high school student from K.G. Koppal, brought his pet to the show. LED screens provided information on pet care, dog rearing, and rabies prevention, aiming to raise public awareness.",
