"account": "Embakasi East MP Babu Owino has likened Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja to the third servant in the biblical parable of talents, alleging that the governor has squandered the resources entrusted to him. During a service at Jesus Teaching Ministry (JTM) Church on Sunday, October 18, 2026, Owino, who is vying for the Nairobi governorship in the 2027 General Election, criticized the current leadership, stating that residents had given their leaders a chance to enhance the city, yet they had received no tangible results. He accused Sakaja of consuming the city's resources rather than investing them in development projects and services for residents, noting that \"the whole of Nairobi iko kwa tumbo yake, amemeza mali yote ya Nairobians\" (Nairobi is all his, he hoards all the city's wealth). Owino pledged that if elected, he would prioritize cleanliness, infrastructure, water supply, and employment, promising a cleaner city, an end to corruption, and access to clean water and employment opportunities. He also mentioned his support for women seeking capital to start or expand businesses and men battling drug addiction. The church appearance was part of the Linda Mwananchi Movement's pre-election activities in Nairobi, which included a Sunday service at JTM Church in Donholm as part of grassroots mobilisation efforts.",
