Speaking to a news agency, the Command's spokesman, Afolabi Odunsi, said Ogunjobi passed away after a brief illness earlier this week. In a statement, the spokesman expressed deep regret over the loss, describing Ogunjobi as a great contributor to the Corps' efforts in promoting safer roads, enhancing public enlightenment, strengthening stakeholder engagement, and improving compliance with traffic regulations. Ogunjobi's death is a significant blow to the road safety community, and his colleagues and the Corps will undoubtedly miss his leadership and commitment to the organization's mandate.
