"account": "Azerbaijan's ban on Islamic headscarves in schools has sparked tensions with Turkey, traditionally close allies despite linguistic and cultural ties. Turkey's Chief Adviser Oktay Saral denounced Azerbaijan's move as \"unacceptable,\" stating that wearing a headscarf is a requirement of faith. The ruling Yeni Azerbaijan Party condemned Saral and MPs from Erdogan's AKP for their \"populist and irresponsible statements.\" The conflict highlights the growing Israel-Azerbaijan relationship, with Turkey's support for Israel strained by its own criticism of Israel in Gaza. Azerbaijan's pragmatic foreign policy due to its strategic position between Russia and the Middle East has led to a more assertive stance. While observers agree that the two nations share too much to risk a rupture, Azerbaijan holds the upper hand due to its energy resources and access to Central Asia, crucial for Turkey's transit role.",
