"account": "Lions coach Ivan Van Rooyen expressed deep admiration for the global support his team received following the tragic death of Hyron Andrews in France. The decision to play against La Rochelle was seen by Van Rooyen as a testament to Andrews' kind and unifying nature, drawing people together. The Lions lost the match 31-14, but the focus was on the outpouring of compassion from the rugby community and the team's character. Van Rooyen praised the hotel staff and French club's leadership for their exceptional care during the difficult time. La Rochelle's support, including visits from club officials and players, was particularly moving, as was the continuous applause from the French crowd. Despite the emotional weight, the Lions played hard, coming close to a win before a disallowed try. The team now faces a challenging European tour, including demanding matches against Edinburgh and Glasgow Warriors in Scotland.",
