"account": "Pakatan Harapan (PH) has finalized its candidate vetting process for the upcoming 16th Melaka state election, including conducting background checks with the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC). PH Communications Director Datuk Seri Fahmi Fadzil announced that selected candidates will also be required to sign a party bond, with significant fines imposed for any breaches. Following the vetting process, PH plans to officially announce its candidate lineup on October 24. The communications minister expects the party to field a mix of both new and experienced politicians, reflecting the changes in constituencies following negotiations among coalition partners. Although the final lineup has not been fully determined, Fahmi stated that it will be a combination of candidates with varying degrees of experience. The 16th Melaka election is scheduled for November 14, with nomination day set for October 31 and early voting on November 10. In the previous state election, Barisan Nasional won 21 out of the 28 seats, while PH secured five.",
