"account": "A tragic fire broke out at Canada's largest military base in Wainwright, Alberta, on Saturday, resulting in both fatalities and injuries. The blaze, sparked by an unspecified \"serious incident,\" rapidly spread due to high winds, according to local officials. The incident occurred around 4 p.m., triggering a call for emergency assistance from the Wainwright Royal Canadian Mounted Police. Defense Minister David McGuinty confirmed the loss of life and injuries, describing the situation as \"active and delicate.\" He stated that an investigation into the cause of the fire would be initiated. The military base, located approximately 130 miles southeast of Edmonton, is a major hub for Army training, housing the Canadian Manoeuvre Training Centre and the 3rd Canadian Division Training Centre. Prime Minister Mark Carney confirmed the incident as stemming from a \"serious incident.\" A code orange emergency response protocol was declared in nearby Edmonton due to the high number of patients requiring treatment. Local hospitals are now diverting patients to facilities across the city. The Canadian Armed Forces, along with federal, provincial, and local authorities, are working together to provide necessary support and investigate the incident. Alberta Premier Danielle Smith described the disaster as \"significant and tragic,\" emphasizing the impact on Canadian military personnel. No evacuation has been ordered, but residents are advised to avoid the incident area and keep roads clear. This developing story will be updated as more information becomes available.",
