"account": "Nairobi, Kenya — Security and disciplined service officers have been urged to seek mental health support and uphold integrity while interacting with the public. This advice came from religious and government leaders at an inter-agency thanksgiving and prayer service in Machakos on Saturday. Bishop George Muthaka, who oversees the Uniformed Disciplined Services Chaplaincy, emphasized the importance of mental health and well-being, urging officers to prioritize self-care and seek psychological, professional, and spiritual assistance when facing challenges. He stressed that their uniforms symbolize authority, discipline, and the duty to protect and serve. The annual event, held on October 17 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Cathedral, gathered officers and their families from the National Police Service, Kenya Prisons Service, Kenya Wildlife Service, Kenya Forest Service, and National Youth Service. Bishop Muthaka praised the officers for their service, describing it as a calling to protect and serve humanity. Eastern Regional Commissioner Jacob Ouma, the chief guest, also promoted professionalism and integrity, commending the officers for their sacrifices and commitment. The service, themed \"Be strong and steadfast, for the Lord your God is with you,\" was attended by senior officials from the participating services.",
