"account": "Veteran Nigerian actor Kola Olaiya has criticized fellow actor Pete Edochie for being too proud to show respect to older actors who paved the way before him in the Nigerian entertainment industry. In an interview with Oyinmomo TV, Olaiya stated that Edochie's lack of acknowledgement of the contributions made by earlier pioneers \"is in his blood.\" Olaiya cited Hubert Ogunde as one of the key figures whose impact on the industry predates Edochie's career. He highlighted Ogunde's long-standing career in theatre, which began in 1944 after leaving the police force, producing films and hit songs before Edochie was even born. Olaiya questioned Edochie's actions, asking why the actor did not show appreciation to those who came before him in the industry. The veteran actor then discussed his own experiences working with Ogunde, describing him as a father figure and a significant influence on his life and career. Olaiya later resigned from Ogunde's theatre group, citing issues such as the acquisition of cars and the deduction of a certain amount from actors' salaries. Despite this, he expressed gratitude to Ogunde for the opportunities and support he received during their collaboration.",
