"account": "KUALA LUMPUR: Low Zi Yu and Genevie Lim silenced nerves to claim the girls' doubles gold at the World Junior Championships in Cairo, Egypt. The second seeds triumphed over Japan's Nijika Kamata-Shizuku Kashio 15-7, 9-15, 15-12 in a 41-minute match. This victory marked the first Malaysian women's doubles pair to win the title since the tournament's start in 1992. Zi Yu, 16, initially feared a third consecutive silver medal after Japan forced a deciding game. She later admitted her nervousness during the final set, stating she thought she would secure a third silver medal. Genevie also mentioned feeling pressure, especially when the Japanese pair threatened to save their match points. The gold medal was particularly rewarding for Zi Yu, who had previously lost in the final of the mixed team event and the individual mixed doubles competition. Despite these setbacks, she stayed positive and focused on achieving the doubles title.",
