The Labuan Fire and Rescue Department's Abdul Rahman Ali reported that the blaze encompassed two blocks of 28 houses, with around 80 percent of the area consumed by flames. Ali informed Bernama that the fire had engulfed an area of approximately one hectare and was extinguished by 8:04 PM. The department responded to the emergency at 7:13 PM, dispatching 17 personnel from Labuan Sentral and Rancha-Rancha fire stations. Firefighters utilized multiple fire engines and firefighting equipment to curb the inferno, while personnel from Sabah Electricity Sdn Bhd were also on the scene.
