"summary": "US President Donald Trump has requested a 60-day period to evaluate the potential global economic implications of imposing sanctions on Russia and tariffs on other countries, according to Secretary of State Marco Rubio. This decision comes after Trump waived key provisions of the Graham Act, which authorized punitive tariffs on countries purchasing Russian oil, offering relief to India. Rubio stated that the president wants to analyze the impact of these measures on the global economy, including the US economy, considering factors such as global energy supplies, the Iran war, the Houthis attack in Saudi Arabia, and the Russia-Ukraine war. He emphasized that countries like India, which have diversified their energy portfolio, still rely on Russia for a significant portion of their energy needs, making the transition challenging. Rubio highlighted India's importance as an ally and partner of the United States, stating that the president needs time to determine the appropriate combination of actions.",
