"summary": "Actor Imran Khan Pal, aged approximately 44, filed a petition in the Bombay High Court on Saturday to challenge a notice issued by the Foreigners Regional Registration Officer (FRRO), Mumbai, directing him to leave India by October 28. According to the Times of India, Khan's petition describes the notice as arbitrary, unreasoned, and a punitive executive action intended to stifle perceived dissent. He contends that the notice violates his fundamental rights to equality and life under Articles 14 and 21 of the Indian Constitution and was issued without a hearing.\n\nThe Times of India reports that Khan has been in India since he was two years old. On the same day he e-filed his petition, the FRRO issued a fresh show cause notice regarding potential actions under laws governing foreigners and OCIs. The Hindu reports that Khan intends to challenge the legality of the notice following his participation in a protest and will seek judicial relief.",
