"account": "John Beake, a former Denver Broncos executive who played a crucial role in the team's acquisition of John Elway and led the Broncos to consecutive Super Bowl victories in the late 1990s, has passed away at the age of 87. Beake's impact on the organization spanned over two decades, during which he held various personnel roles before becoming the general manager in 1983. His instrumental trade for Elway, who went on to become a Hall of Famer, was a significant moment in Broncos history. Following his tenure as general manager, Beake took on different roles within the Broncos, including vice president of administration and vice president of player development before joining the NFL's league office. The Broncos expressed their sadness over his passing, acknowledging his enduring influence during one of the franchise's most successful periods. Beake's career began in 1979, and he had previously worked with Hall of Famer Hank Stram as an offensive assistant for the Kansas City Chiefs and the New Orleans Saints before joining the Broncos.",
