"summary": "Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf has pledged Northern Nigeria's support for President Bola Tinubu's re-election in the 2027 general elections. Speaking on Saturday in Abuja during the inauguration of the Arewa for Asiwaju (A4A) national headquarters, Yusuf promised to mobilize support for the President across the region.\n\nDaily Post Nigeria reports that Yusuf declared the North would vote for Tinubu 100 per cent. He cited a purported mutual agreement established in 1999 between the North and the South which provides for two consecutive terms for each region. Yusuf noted that this arrangement was previously honored during the two terms of the late President Muhammadu Buhari and stated that common sense dictates the agreement should be respected.",
