"account": "The Atlanta Dream may have a major injury update ahead of the WNBA Finals: All-Star guard Allisha Gray is expected to return to action. Allisha Gray suffered a finger injury during Atlanta's semifinal series against the New York Liberty and missed most of the team's postseason run. Coach Karl Smesko shared promising news, stating that she has made significant recovery progress. If cleared by medical staff, Gray won't face any restrictions for Game 1 against the Golden State Valkyries. Her potential return is crucial, especially against a defense-rich Golden State squad. During the regular season, Gray averaged a career-high 19 points per game, leading the Dream in scoring. She also contributed 3.5 rebounds and 2.7 assists per contest. Having Gray available would give Atlanta a proven scoring option as they chase their first WNBA championship title. The Valkyries, who reached the Finals for the second time, present a formidable challenge after sweeping the Las Vegas Aces. For Atlanta, Gray's return could provide a significant boost at this pivotal moment in the season. The final decision on her availability hinges on her injured hand's response to pregame preparations.",
