"account": "The European Union is set to provide €20 million in defence assistance to Nigeria, according to the Minister of Defence, Gen Christopher Musa. The funding will help support the Nigerian Armed Forces in their efforts to tackle insecurity within the country. This assistance is part of the European Peace Facility and will be delivered under a bilateral agreement with the EU. An EU technical delegation will visit Abuja in November to finalize the details of the assistance. The EU Ambassador to Nigeria, Gautier Mignot, recently met with Musa to discuss the modalities for the delivery of the aid, which includes ten attack helicopters, UAVs, and other critical military equipment. The Nigerian government has expressed gratitude for the EU's continued support in addressing security challenges, including kidnapping along major highways and attacks on isolated communities.",
