"summary": "Troops from the 3 Brigade of the Nigerian Army have rescued a kidnapped victim and neutralized two suspected kidnappers in Kano State, recovering a ransom of N10 million in the process. The operation took place in Falgore Forest, Doguwa Local Government Area, following the abduction of Alhaji Kabiru Aliyu on October 11, 2026, as he returned from Yandoka Market in Kaduna State. The troops, in collaboration with the Nigeria Police Force, DSS, and local hunters, conducted an ambush and successfully rescued the victim while the kidnappers fled towards the forest. The recovered ransom money was subsequently returned to the victim and his family. Brigadier General Saka Jimoh, the Commander of 3 Brigade, praised the troops' professionalism and urged the public to provide timely information to support ongoing security efforts.",
