"account": "Defender Lucia Di Guglielmo scored her first-ever National Women's Soccer League goal to give the Washington Spirit a crucial 1-0 victory over Gotham on Saturday. The 22-year-old midfielder completed the feat in the 70th minute, slotting the ball past Gotham's goalkeeper Ann-Katrin Berger to clinch the Spirit's playoff spot. This marked the Spirit's first win over Gotham since June 23, 2024, and ended Gotham's four-game unbeaten streak at Audi Field. Spirit midfielder Mélissa Bethi delivered a pinpoint lob pass to Di Guglielmo, who took advantage of the opportunity to score the game-winning goal. Gotham goalkeeper Ann-Katrin Berger made a crucial save, keeping the score at 0-0 for much of the match. Spirit goalkeeper Sandy MacIver made two key saves, contributing to her 10th clean sheet of the season. Gotham defender Leila Ouahabi made her debut for the club in the match, joining from the Chicago Stars after her contract was terminated.",
