"summary": "The Association of Retired Principals of Secondary Schools of Nigeria, Ogun State chapter, has demanded a consequential increase in pensions for retired principals before Governor Dapo Abiodun leaves office in 2027. The association's president, Comrade Segun Obadimu, made the appeal during the 2026 Annual State Congress held in Sagamu, emphasizing that the current pension payments no longer meet the needs of retirees due to economic realities. Obadimu also urged the governor to clear the backlog of gratuities owed to retirees from 2020 to 2025, stating that this is achievable before the 2027 elections. The congress, themed \"Healthy Life in Retirement,\" focused on the health and well-being of retired educators, with a health talk highlighting the risks associated with hypertension and diabetes.",
