"account": "Belgium has strongly condemned an attack by Israeli settlers on a convoy of European diplomats in the West Bank, which resulted in the injury of French mayor Bernard Baudoux. The incident occurred in the occupied West Bank village of Al-Taybeh, where the diplomats were visiting to support Palestinians in their olive picking efforts. Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar, while condemning the violence, also criticized the diplomats for failing to coordinate their visit with the Israeli military. Witnesses reported that masked settlers verbally abused the delegation before assaulting Baudoux, a 78-year-old left-wing mayor. Although the mayor was severely beaten and left slumped on the ground, he did not require hospital treatment. French diplomats confirmed his identity and described the attack as a violent act by rioters.",
