"account": "HyperX has entered the open-back gaming headset market with its Cloud Alpha Air, priced at $149.99. This wired, over-ear headset offers a balance of comfort, immersion, and affordability, making it an attractive option for budget-conscious gamers seeking a premium audio experience. The Cloud Alpha Air boasts dynamic 40mm drivers with a 20 - 20,000 Hz frequency response, ensuring clear audio reproduction across a wide range of frequencies. Additionally, the headset features HyperX's Bass Tube technology to maintain strong bass output, even in an open-back design. The lightweight construction, weighing in at approximately 10 ounces (283g), allows for extended wear without discomfort. The earcups are roomy, featuring thick memory foam padding and soft ultrasuede material, providing a comfortable fit. The headset is highly adjustable, with independently height-adjustable earcups and a steel headband with leatherette padding. Connectivity is straightforward, with a detachable 3.5mm cable and a microphone. While the open-back design sacrifices some isolation, it provides a spacious, natural sound conducive to gaming and other audio applications.",
"summary": "The HyperX Cloud Alpha Air is the brand's first open-back gaming headset. It's lightweight and comfortable, and it sounds very good. But microphone pickup is low, and it doesn't seem to work with the brand's peripheral software (yet).",
