"account": "Captain Smit Machchhar of Flydubai flight FZ1073, which narrowly escaped a major aviation tragedy on September 30, has recalled the moment he was attacked by his Omani co-pilot inside the cockpit. Captain Machchhar, hailed a hero for averting a tragedy, recounted in an interview with Sky News Arabia how he realized he might not survive the ordeal. He praised his colleague who took control of the plane after he collapsed on the floor. The plane plummeted nearly 14,000 feet in less than 30 seconds. Captain Machchhar also spoke of his colleague's commendable actions in saving the day, a moment he will carry with him until his death. The rogue co-pilot, Hammam al-Hammami, was eventually tackled by passengers who entered the cockpit after it was opened. Machchhar, recovering in a hospital weeks after the incident, is trying to move on from the traumatic moments inside the cockpit.",
