"account": "More than 100 runners gathered at KBR Park in Hyderabad for a 5-kilometer community run organized by German endurance athlete Alicia Bayer. The event, titled \"Run for Her,\" aimed to promote gender equality, women's empowerment, and inclusivity within sports. Bayer, known for her endurance challenges that raise awareness on social issues, was pleased with the enthusiastic turnout of runners, particularly early in the morning.\n\nThe initiative is a mixed-gender event that encourages both men and women to unite for equality, challenge societal stereotypes, and make public spaces more welcoming for women. Participants emphasized the importance of increased women's running groups and opportunities for women to run confidently and feel a sense of belonging.\n\nBayer has utilized endurance challenges to advocate for social causes. In 2026, she embarked on a 640-kilometer journey from Mumbai to Goa to promote women's empowerment and girls' education. Her previous challenges in Nepal focused on raising awareness about human trafficking and menstrual health. The \"Run for Her\" event in Hyderabad also highlighted HERD, Alicia's women-only running community, which provides a platform for women to connect, share experiences, and build confidence.\n\nHERD already operates in Delhi, Singapore, and Hyderabad, with plans to expand to Bengaluru, Mysuru, Goa, and Mumbai. The organization envisions connecting women runners globally in the long term.",
