"account": "Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for the 2028 elections and former Vice President, has called for unity among party members at all levels as they aim to secure victory in the upcoming general election. Speaking at a congregational prayer in Kintampo, Bawumia reiterated his confidence in the NPP's ability to win the 2028 polls, but stressed that this victory hinges on the party's ability to remain united. He urged grassroots supporters to work relentlessly towards the goal of securing more parliamentary seats in the next election, emphasizing that a parliamentary majority would empower his government to enact policies aimed at elevating the socio-economic conditions of Ghana's citizens. During his visit to Kintampo, Bawumia also recognized the NPP's successful selection of leaders at the constituency, regional, and national levels, ahead of the 2028 elections. Alongside other NPP executives, Bawumia presented GH¢30,000 in cash to the Muslim community in Kintampo, urging them to lend their support to the party in its quest to reclaim power.",
