"account": "Chelsea secured a 2-0 victory over Everton at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, but the match was marred by goalkeeper Emi Martinez's head injury. Pedro Neto scored both goals, with his opener coming in the second half and the second following the lengthy treatment of Martinez. The Argentine scored the second goal during the 11 extra minutes after Martinez's injury. Everton's defeat is their first of the season, and Chelsea moved above the Toffees into the top four of the Premier League. The match started slowly, with Everton recording five first-half yellow cards, including one from Harrison Armstrong on Josh Acheampong. Thierno Barry had a poor day, hitting a header past the post that should have been a goal. Chelsea's Moises Caicedo came close to scoring a third when he blasted off the bar from a well-worked corner, but the home side managed to maintain their control despite Martinez's absence.",
"summary": "The Argentine goalkeeper was involved in a sickening head clash with Everton defender Jarrad Branthwaite and was taken to hospital.",
