"account": "TANAH MERAH: A policeman was severely injured when a suspected drug dealer slashed him with a parang during an anti-drug operation in Kampung Lalang Pepuyu, Kelantan. The 37-year-old officer suffered a fractured left hand and was taken to Hospital Tanah Merah. The incident occurred at 1:35pm during a raid conducted by officers from the Kelantan police contingent headquarters Narcotics Crime Investigation Department, as well as personnel from Bukit Bunga and Lalang Pepuyu police stations. The suspect, a local man in his 30s, attempted to flee after spotting the officers but swung the parang at them during a chase, leading to his injury before he was apprehended. Police recovered the 35cm parang, trace amounts of suspected yaba pills, and a bottle of liquid possibly containing ketum juice. The suspect had a history of six prior drug-related offenses. The arrest is part of Ops Tapis Bersepadu Sempadan, an integrated effort to combat drug smuggling and distribution along the Malaysia-Thailand border.",
