"account": "In response to a roof collapse at a private school in Peshawar, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has ordered inspections of schools throughout the province, according to the Elementary and Secondary Education Department. District education officers are tasked with reviewing reports, photographs and videos indicating potentially unsafe school buildings, and must take immediate action to safeguard student health and well-being.\n\nSchools found to be unsafe are required to suspend classes and relocate students to nearby schools or secure locations. Only after completing required repairs and receiving safety clearance from technical authorities may classes resume. The department has emphasized the importance of prioritizing repairs and obtaining technical assessments for buildings with significant structural issues.\n\nBy 12 noon on October 21, 2026, all districts are expected to submit comprehensive reports outlining inspection results, identification of unsafe buildings, measures taken to suspend classes, arrangements for student relocation, and information on corrective actions undertaken. This directive aims to ensure the safety of students and teachers in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's educational institutions.",
