According to Yahoo Sports, the 52-year-old replaces Munaf Patel, who served as the team's bowling coach for the previous two seasons. Vaas, who recorded 355 Test wickets and 400 ODI wickets during his international career, brings coaching experience from stints with the Sri Lankan men's team and New Zealand, as well as work with Ireland for the 2016 T20 World Cup.\n\nVaas joins a revamped coaching staff led by head coach Sourav Ganguly. Yahoo Sports and Free Press Journal note that former India all-rounder Yuvraj Singh has been appointed as the assistant and batting coach.
