"summary": "The Dr. Ambedkar Scheduled Castes Federation welcomed the Karnataka High Court's decision to strike down the additional reservation quota for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes in the state. State president Mahendra Kumar Mitra addressed a press conference in Raichur, criticizing the State Cabinet's decision to appeal the verdict in the Supreme Court. The federation argues that the 2022 legislation, which increased total reservations in the State to 56%, violated constitutional limits and called for the exclusion of 24 communities from the reservation list.",
