The President of CAN, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, called on the Federal Government to protect citizens, uphold the Constitution, and ensure accountability in the use of public resources. Tinubu, as the special guest of honor, praised CAN for its 50 years of service, quoting biblical passages to stress the significance of unity among Christian denominations. Okoh urged the Church to advocate for justice, good governance, and the welfare of vulnerable citizens while maintaining a balanced relationship with the government.
