"account": "Ann Marie Harper, a 71-year-old Scottish woman known as Glamour Gran Ann, narrowly missed out on winning the Miss Great Britain pageant. Despite her age, she made history as the oldest Scottish contestant to reach the national final in the pageant's 81-year history. Harper competed in the Ms Great Britain Classic category, which is open to women aged 45 and over, putting her against rivals up to 26 years her junior. She finished outside the top five, with Ally Sussex from Surrey ultimately crowned the winner after three previous attempts. Other category winners included Yazmin McClean from Belfast and Holly Pirrie from Warrington. Despite not making the top five, Harper was awarded the \"impact over image\" prize for the Classic category. Harper expressed her joy and excitement about competing and being part of a trend of older people joining the pageant, stating that this is \"only the beginning.\" She also mentioned her successful cosmetics brand, launched at 66, and her active presence on social media platforms like Instagram and TikTok. Harper's participation in the pageant can be seen as a joyful self-expression, free from societal expectations and limitations.",
