"account": "Alexander Zverev, the current world number one, was upset by Alejandro Davidovich Fokina in the Shanghai Masters semi-finals. The Spaniard, ranked 26th, emerged victorious in a three-set match, 5-7, 6-4, 6-3. Davidovich Fokina's performance was marked by his tenacious fighting spirit and precise play. He started cautiously, but gradually intensified his efforts, even celebrating with a high-five from the world number two after a notable lob. Zverev, despite a series of off-target shots, managed to clinch the first set with a decisive ace, putting himself in a strong position for the final. However, Davidovich Fokina's momentum in the second set, with his effective backhand shots and pressure-building play, proved too much for Zverev, who only managed to hold after a near-breakpoint. The Spaniard went on to dominate the decider, saving two match points in the process. His victory extended his winning streak in China to nine matches, including an ATP 250 title in Chengdu earlier in the tournament.",
"summary": "Alejandro Davidovich Fokina beat the top seed 5-7, 6-4, 6-3 and will face either Daniil Medvedev or Rafael Jodar in Sunday's final.",
