"account": "Google may restrict access to its Pro AI models within Google AI Plus starting November 13, 2026, according to a recent notice from the Google One team. Under these changes, subscribers to Google AI Plus will lose the ability to manually choose Pro models within the Gemini app or Google Search's AI Mode. Flash and Flash-Lite models will still be available, though conversations that previously utilized a Pro model will continue using an alternative model. Pro models will remain accessible to users on higher tiers and Google AI Pro subscribers. The original deadline of October 9, 2026, has been postponed, with the latest notice citing November 13, 2026, as the new date for implementation. Google AI Plus subscribers will continue to have access to Flash and Flash-Lite models, but existing chats utilizing a Pro model will need to be continued using another model, with no prior indication of which model will be used in each case. As of October 16, 2026, Google lists the following pricing and benefits for US subscribers: Google AI Plus costs $4.99 per month, offering 2× 400 GB of storage, 200 Google AI Plus credits, and 400 GB of Google Flow. Google AI Pro is priced at $19.99 per month, providing 4× 5 TB of storage, 1,000 Google AI Pro credits, and 1,000 Google Flow credits. The transition from Google AI Plus to Google AI Pro would result in an additional $15 monthly subscription cost. The plans also vary in storage capacity, usage limits, and Google Flow credits, but the notice specifically impacts the selection of Pro models for Google AI Plus subscribers.",
