"account": "Anglican Bishop of the Missionary Diocese of Oyo South, Rt. Rev’d Olufemi Familoni, addressed church workers at the licensing and commissioning of 10 pioneer lay readers at the Cathedral Church of St. John in Oyo State, Nigeria. Familoni emphasized the importance of faithfulness and deep commitment in serving God's vineyard, stating that it is better not to offer oneself for God's service than to offer oneself and not be faithful. He reminded that God values obedience over sacrifice, referencing the story of Saul who spared the king and some of the spoil. Familoni urged the lay readers to serve as role models for those who come after them and to embrace the privilege of serving the Lord with humility and dedication. The ceremony marked a significant moment in the young diocese's history, and Familoni prayed for the pioneer lay readers to faithfully proclaim God's word and advance Christ's Kingdom.",
