"account": "In 2012, Denzel Washington delivered a groundbreaking performance in Flight, earning his first Oscar nomination in 11 years following his win for Training Day. The movie, rated 4/5 stars by Tom's Guide, is a tense drama that transforms into a moving character study, showcasing Washington's ability to portray a functioning alcoholic transitioning into a broken man. While the film's events are loosely inspired by real-life Alaska Airlines Flight 261, it makes no claim to be based on a true story.\n\nWashington stars as Whip Whitaker, a veteran airline pilot who must navigate a commercial airliner through an intense rainstorm while dealing with his alcoholism. The movie then shifts to a legal drama as Whip faces potential perjury charges after successfully landing the plane but still facing manslaughter charges. Despite this, Flight is a must-watch, with Washington's nuanced performance at the center of the film's success.",
