"account": "Bersama co-leader Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad has been suspended for three months from all official party activities, starting October 20 and ending January 19, 2027. The suspension came after Nik Nazmi admitted to being involved in a suspected khalwat case. The party emphasized its commitment to addressing leadership and member issues to maintain integrity and credibility. Despite the suspension, Bersama believes the decision is justified and does not diminish Nik Nazmi's contributions to the party since its relaunch in May. Nik Nazmi, a former Setiawangsa MP, confirmed he was one of two individuals detained in Petaling Jaya by Jais in a suspected khalwat case on Thursday. He apologized to his wife, families, and others affected, describing it as a lapse in judgment, and expressed regret to the party for disappointing its members and supporters.",
