"account": "Last year's Melbourne Cup winner, Half Yours, suffered a nasty fall during the Caulfield Cup race, which was won by Kingswood ridden by Dominic Beddgood. With roughly 200 meters remaining in the 2,400-meter event, Half Yours found itself in the middle of the field when contact with Kings Valley appeared to occur. The horse stumbled heavily, causing jockey Mark Zahra to go down with him. Ohope Wins, ridden by Jye McNeil, also went down after failing to evade the fallen McEvoy Racing horse. After the race, Half Yours returned to his stall and was reported to be in good condition by Racing.com. However, stewards confirmed that both Zahra and McNeil were conscious and alert, and they were taken to the hospital for further evaluation. Trainer Tony McEvoy stated shortly after the race that Half Yours had sustained some abrasions but appeared to be in overall good health. \"That was terrible to watch,\" McEvoy remarked, adding that the horse had two lacerations, one under his arm and another on a hind leg, which were described as superficial. The final race of the day at Caulfield was delayed due to the incident.",
