"account": "A 58-year-old official from Capricorn TVET College has been apprehended in connection with a scheme allegedly involving extortion of R100,000 from a farmer. The funds were meant for a project aimed at providing land for practical training to 33 students at the Department of Agriculture. According to authorities, the farmer had reportedly deposited money into the suspect's personal bank account, claiming it was payment for \"coffee\". The suspect is said to have impersonated a Department of Agriculture official. Police executed a clandestine operation in Polokwane, where the farmer surrendered R40,000 in cash, leading to the suspect's arrest. The seized funds were recovered. Provincial Commissioner Lieutenant General Jan Petrus Scheepers expressed satisfaction with the arrest, emphasizing the commitment of the SAPS to combat corruption and bring to justice those who abuse their authority. The suspect is scheduled to make his appearance in the Polokwane Magistrate's Court on Monday, October 19, where he will be charged with corruption and extortion.",
